Joyce Jimerson from Washington State University gave permission to use literature from their website – thankyou Joyce!
See on this site’s homepage, under the ‘blogroll’ header on the right, a link to Washington State University website.
It is a great site to visit for tips and expert advice. And extremely userfriendly.
I made my worm bin as they describe on their website. Find the complete, easy to do, instruction manual, pictures included, at http://whatcom.wsu.edu/ag/compost/Easywormbin.htm
If you are a DIY person, it is quick and easy to make yourself. And fairly cheaper to the kits, although you don’t have to worry about anything when ordering the kit!
I find, however, that the worms get through the tiniest hole, and every so often i have to remove the top bin to rescue the worms with wanderlust.
Does anybody have an alternative or a tip to this pain?
